In the 6th match of ICC T20 Cricket World Cup Afghanistan played against England in which defending Champions beats Afghanistan in one sided match. England put huge total on the board before Afghanistan collapse for below than 100 runs. England put 196/5 in 20 overs with help of Luke Wright very fast 99 on just 55 balls in which 8 boundaries and 6 sixes are included but disappointment for young man failed to complete  his first century in this formate. In return Afghanistan bating line up failed very badly only one person across the double figure Gulbodin Naib who scored 44 runs and save Afghanistan from big disaster. Luke Wright nominated as man of the match.
